It’s looking like a big week for us dog owners in the Far Northern parts of Queensland, Australia. Not only is Townsville holding their annual Pet Expo (a free event that features over 50 pet-related exhibitors) but dog trainer Gary Jackson will be travelling north to attend a seminar at the expo, and onwards to Cairns. This means that dog owners in the FNQ struggling with pet behavioural problems can only benefit…..
Gary Jackson has this Monday and Tuesday (23rd – 24th June 2014) available for people in the Cairns region who are looking for solutions to their dog’s behaviour. He is one of the most experienced dog trainers in Australia. To get an idea of Gary’s list of achievements read this blog – ‘Gary Jackson Dog Trainer – Not all Barks and Whistles’. Gary’s fees aren’t cheap but his ‘house’ visits last 2 hours and he invariably walks away with a 100% success rate (read ‘Gary Jackson Dog Trainer – Fixing Dog Issues in just 1 Lesson’ for some testimonials).
I know I’m interested in meeting Gary again as I’ve introduced chickens to our household. Unfortunately for Scooter – a dog (Bull Arab) that is bred primarily for hunting purposes – it is completely messing with his head. Particularly as we like to give the chickens an opportunity to free range in our yard at some point in the day. I would love Gary to give me some ideas on how to quell my dog’s high prey drive and stop him getting too excited when a chook struts past his nose.
And if you’re not from FNQ and still looking for a solution to a dog problem that’s bugging you it’s not too late to ask a question to Gary Jackson. Check out this Blog – ‘Dear Dog Trainer – Questions you would like answered’ and submit a question by the end of this week and you may find the answer to your question in my next blog.
